Studio Policies, Terms & Conditions
Studio Policies, Terms & Conditions
For the best experience at Beat:
-
Aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before class starts. Studio doors open 20 minutes before class and close 20 minutes after class. For safety reasons, we lock the door at the start of class and latecomers will not be admitted. Our doors remain locked for the entirety of class.
-
Come prepared with a mat, towel and water bottle. These items are available to rent (mats/towels) or purchase (water) should you need them.
-
Make sure to check-in at the front desk to avoid a no-show penalty.
-
Phones are not allowed in the practice room unless you are on-call for work or have an emergency. In these special situations please notify your teacher before class.
-
No outside equipment is allowed in the practice room.
-
We ask that you are on your mat at the start of class and stay for the entirety of class.
-
Refrain from disruptive behavior in the room (i.e. talking, receiving smart watch notifications, moving about the room unnecessarily during class, not following the teacher’s instructions).
Pre-Registrations
-
We recommend pre-registering for all classes at Beat. This will guarantee your space in a class.
-
Our registration opens on various rolling windows depending on your membership.
-
Even if you are registered for class, if the class is waitlisted and you have not arrived 2 minutes prior to the start of class time, your spot may be given to a waiting student.
Waitlist, No-Shows, and Cancellation Policies
-
Even if a class says “waitlist only” you can, and should, place yourself on the waitlist. As reserved students cancel, waitlisted students will be added to the class and notified via email (you must be registered for our emails). You can be added to class up to 2 hours before class starts.
-
If you cannot attend class, you can remove yourself through our branded app or by signing in on our website and cancelling your reservation.
-
For any waitlisted class, students can cancel their reservations up to 2 hours before class starts. If you fail to cancel your reservation or no-show for a waitlisted class you:
-
lose your class credit (drop-in students keep class credit)
-
will be charged a $10 fee which goes directly towards our Beat scholarship program
-
-
For any class that is not full, you may cancel your reservation at any time with no penalty.
-
Workshops must be cancelled up to 24 hours prior their start. Refunds for workshops are not automated and must be requested by reaching out to hello@beatyogapilates.com. If your workshop registration is cancelled within 24 hours you lose the pass and no refund is granted.
-
Private Yoga appointments must be cancelled with 24 or more hours notice in order to reschedule or be refunded. Payment for private yoga appointments is required prior to their booking.
-
If you need assistance registering yourself for notifications, please stop by the front desk or email us at hello@beatyogapilates.com

Tuitions for yoga teacher training programs and retreats are non-refundable 45 days or less from when training or retreat has begun, and only partial refunds will be available. -
Unused Mini Membership classes do not rollover.
-
You may freeze your monthly membership account once per calendar year for a maximum of sixty (60) days. Annual memberships cannot be paused or extended. Pauses must be communicated via email at least 7 days prior to the pause start date. Your membership will automatically restart after your pause period. Please note that upon re-activation, your monthly billing date will change.

-
Unlimited monthly and quarterly members can bring up to 2 guests per month. Guests can be easily registered using our branded app.
-
Unused guest passes do not rollover.
-
The same person can attend class using a guest pass only twice per calendar year.
-
Guest passes cannot be used for workshops or special events.
Inclement Weather
-
In case of inclement weather or other potentially dangerous situations, we will make the decision to cancel classes or workshops at least 2 hours ahead of time. Please check the online schedule on our app or website or the studio Instagram before heading out.
-
No additional days will be credited to passes or memberships if inclement weather causes the studio to be closed for safety reasons.
Lost and Found
-
Beat is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
-
We cannot confirm that we have any lost and found item over the phone or via email. You must come in person to claim your item.
-
Beat does not provide locks for our lockers but invites students to bring their own.
-
Any lost and found items will be set aside for 30 days and then donated if not claimed.
