Choose whichever class fits your schedule. We'll take good care of you in your first class!
We do not. The best way to get started at Beat is to purchase our new student introductory offer. This will give you the opportunity to try all of the modalities on our schedule with various teachers and to fully experience the magic of our community and our classes.
If you've used a guest pass to attend a class, you can still purchase the intro offer even though you aren't technically a "first timer".

Whether it's your 1st class or your thousandth, follow these general preparation instructions for the best experience:
Come hydrated! The time to hydrate for today's class was yesterday ☺️
Avoid eating a large meal at for at least 2 hours prior to class. If you're hungry before class, fruit is usually a great option closer to class
Bring a mat, a large towel, and a water bottle
Wear whatever you're comfortable in. You don't need fancy yoga clothes to come to class. Tighter fitting clothes tend to feel better on your body once you're sweaty, and make sure whatever you choose covers everything you want covered and that it does not become see-through when wet (trust us, we've seen it happen) 🫣
Leave expectations at the door. You're different every time you step on your mat and progress is not linear. Do your best to stay in the present moment and keep an open mind
Take it easy honey! If you end up needing to take a hot nap, we support you in taking care of yourself
Our studio opens 20 minutes before class and stays open 20 minutes after class. If it's your first time, try to arrive 10-15 minutes early to familiarize yourself with the studio space.
Yes babe! We've got 7 showers total 🤩
We do! You can rent a mat, a practice towel, and/or a shower towel for $3 each.
Yes please! Although we do welcome walk-ins, it's easiest for your teacher to prep for class if we know who is coming. We recommend pre-registering using our branded Beat app. Simply search for Beat Yoga and Pilates in the Apple app store or on Google Play, and you'll find us! Alternatively, you can register on our website.
Out of respect for the class as a whole and the safety of people's belongings we do not allow late entry or early exits. Please plan to arrive on-time and stay for the entirety of the classes that you take.
If you cannot attend class, you can remove yourself through our branded app or by signing in on our website and cancelling your reservation. We cannot accept cancellations via voicemail, text or email.
For any waitlisted class, students can cancel their reservations up to 2 hours before class starts. If you fail to cancel your reservation or no-show for a waitlisted class you:
lose your class credit (drop-in students keep class credit)
will be charged a $10 fee which goes directly towards our Beat scholarship program
For any class that is not full, you may cancel your reservation at any time with no penalty.
Workshops must be cancelled up to 24 hours prior their start. Refunds for workshops are not automated and must be requested by reaching out to hello@beatyogapilates.com. If your workshop registration is cancelled within 24 hours you lose the pass and no refund is granted.
Private Yoga appointments must be cancelled with 24 or more hours notice in order to reschedule or be refunded. Payment for private yoga appointments is required prior to their booking.
We offer two different styles of contemporary mat Pilates classes:
Hot Pilates (bodyweight). For this one you only need yourself, a mat and a towel. You don't need to wear grippy socks, but if you want to wear them we won't stop you.
Strength Pilates (utilizing hand weights and resistance bands). For this one we will write what you need on the white board in our hot room. We usually recommend 1-2 sets of hand weights and a resistance band that we'll cue throughout class. If you ever want to come to Strength Pilates and simply use bodyweight, that's always OK! ➡️ Please do not bring in any outside equipment into our classes. Both classes are high-intensity, low-impact, interval training styles classes utilizing Pilates principals. We always start on the floor with glute specific work, move into abs, practice planks and prone exercises, and then the second half of class consists of leg, arm and cardio moves. You'll love it!
YES. We are the only studio in the Triangle that is a member of the Original Hot Yoga Association. We are proud to offer the authentic 90 minute version of the original hot yoga class as well as a 50 minute option that takes you through just one set of the postures.
This series is MEDICINE (especially the 90 minute). Most of our teachers have been teaching this sequence 10+years and they are all dedicated to offering the class in its authentic format.
Yes.
To attend a class solo at Beat, you must be 16 years of age.
Well behaved kids may come as long as they are at least 12 years old, accompanied by an adult, and can stay in the hot room for the entirety of the class.
Students cannot bring children that will be left unattended at any point in our lobby.
If you are a student wishing to come once a week but know you'll be traveling a lot, a class card is probably for you. We have two class card options:
10 classes for $225 (6 month expiration)
20 classes for $400 (12 month expiration)
Class cards cannot be shared
If you wish to come once a week or more regularly and really commit to your practice, a membership is 100% the way to go. We have many membership options:
Mini Membership $78 (4 classes per month)
Unlimited Monthly Membership $132
Premium Unlimited Monthly Membership $169 (includes free mat and towel rentals)
Beat Duo Monthly Membership $220 (can be shared between 2 members of the same household)
All memberships require 1 billing cycle (30 days) written notice to cancel
Unlimited memberships receive 2 guest passes per month (the same guest can come twice per calendar year)

When you click "reserve" on a class you'll see under "reserve for", it auto selects "myself". Simply toggle to "guest" and click book. Your guest will need to fill out a waiver upon arrival at the studio, so aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before class.
